MICA MFA Thesis 2: April 10, 5-7 p.m.

Please join us at a reception for Ramsay Antonio-Barnes’ minstallation “Undercurrent,” now on view at the Creative Alliance. Ramsay will discuss his piece toward the end of the reception with Joseph Young of Baltimore Interview.

Standing at the heart of Antonio-Barnes’ timely minstallation is the Nike-Hercules nuclear missile, designed at the height of the Cold War to intercept incoming Soviet missiles, and based on a grim calculation that widespread nuclear fallout was preferable to a direct hit.
