Timed to coincide with the arrival of this year’s freshman, the First Year Experience (FYE) Exhibition is one of the College’s most highly regarded student shows. The exhibition features work by rising sophomores made during the 2023-24 academic year. The First Year Experience design is in response to the rapid changes in art, design and technology, and the intersections between them that are occurring today. It has been crafted to provide a rigorous, integrated curriculum that reflects the diversity of our people and our learning pathways.

The exhibition is on view Friday, August 16 – Sunday, September 8, 2024.

Gallery Hours:
Decker & Meyerhoff Gallery: Monday – Sunday, 10AM – 5PM.
Pinkard Gallery: Monday – Friday, 10AM – 5PM.

Campus galleries are open to the public. Outside visitors can enter galleries after signing in at the front desk of the respective building. Please note, on weekends outside visitors will need to be accompanied by a MICA community member with a MICA ID in order to swipe and gain access into respective buildings.
