Annapolis, MD – Mark your calendars! The 35th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival, one of the largest African American heritage and cultural festivals on the East Coast, returns to the heart of Annapolis on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the iconic Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium (Blue Lot).
Founded and embraced in the city of Annapolis, the festival is a vibrant celebration of African American resilience, culture, and community. From live performances to arts, food, education, and empowerment—the festival is FREE and open to all ages.
