Regenerative Futures: How Do We Rebuild?
Featuring: Maryland State Delegate Stephanie Smith, Baltimore City Councilmember Zeke Cohen, and BCS Artistic Director Stephanie Ybarra
The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us that in this moment safety looks like physical distance from one another, but how will that play out when restrictions start to be lifted? When eventually we are able to re-enter our physical routines, how might we begin to feel safe with one another? How do we re-learn trust? And what might a generative future centered on community and individual care look like? In this conversation inspired by Where We Stand, BCS Artistic Director Stephanie Ybarra will be joined by special guests Maryland State Delegate Stephanie Smith and Baltimore City Councilmember Zeke Cohen to consider questions of community care and a just recovery process.
This AfterThoughts will be a conversation on Zoom that will be simultaneously streamed live on Facebook. Audiences can join us and participate on either platform. If you are not able to tune in at 8pm on Thursday 4/23,a recording of the conversation will be available on our website.
