Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with the Latinx art community in D.C. and support a local Mexican artist. See you there!
About the artist:
Primeramente, Alana es orgullosamente Mexicana. Su luz e inspiracion, provienen de sus raices Juarenses, su familia, y su hermoso pais. Alana is an interdisciplinary artist from Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua who currently lives and works in Washington, DC. Her work explores the tension and overlap between the beauty and pain of being alive. She’s at her happiest when creating emotionally electric art inspired by the colors of her culture and the graffiti that decorated her childhood. Guzman has exhibited at the El Paso Museum of Art, the International Museum of Art, Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juarez, and others. To Alana, life is what you make of it and she’s decided to make her life art.
