Art holds immense therapeutic power, and too often we forget to bring this power into our everyday lives. In times of uncertainty, creating art can offer a respite from our daily anxieties. In this virtual course, participants will explore the relationship between art and wellness through the creation of mixed-media compositions. Classes will begin with guided meditation instruction to help students recognize and explore their creative and emotional energies. Each session will focus on a different theme in healing through art. All artistic skill levels are welcome in this self-care and creative practices class. Most of these materials can be found at home. If you do not have something, don’t worry! We’ll find creative alternatives and the instructor will guide you through choices you may have available.

This is a virtual drawing class. You will receive a link to this class as well as supply list the day before class. We advise that you test out your computer’s audio, camera, and wifi the day before class and gather your supplies in advance.
