As part of our current exhibition, Transforming the Prototype, the BJC will be hosting two artist talks. The first featuring Mary Hallam Pearse will take place on Wednesday, June 22nd at 6pm and the second with exhibition co-collaborator Luci Jockel will take place Wednesday, June 29th at 6pm. Mary is an Associate Professor of Art in Jewelry and Metalsmithing at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. She received her M.F.A in Metal from SUNY New Paltz and a B.F.A in Jewelry+Metals from Kent State University. Luci is the Metalsmithing and Jewelry Lecturer/Coordinator at Towson University. She received her Master of Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Jewelry and Metalsmithing and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).
