Presented as part of Doors Open Baltimore 2020 Civic Pride and Industry Week

Opened in 1912, the Eastern Avenue Pumping Station has been moving Baltimore’s sewage ever since. This impressive historic landmark is not only a workhorse of the city’s wastewater system but also a striking addition to the architectural landscape of Harbor East. Although the building housed the Public Works Museum until 2010, visitors have rarely been given a glimpse of the functional infrastructure….until now. Join this livestream tour for a behind the scenes look at the beauty of public works.

Tickets are donation based. We encourage you to give what you can to support BAF. Your support helps us make up for lost tour and program revenue from COVID-19 and create more virtual programs like this.
