LEARN HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT IN THE BLACK ARTS DISTRICT: Each month, Black businesses and Black creatives are invited to attend the Black Artist Fair. This networking and professional development series is hosted by Black Artist District in partnership with the Artist Exchange + BLK ASS FLEA MKT. At the fair on August 20, from 6:00–8:30 p.m., BOPA’s Director of Strategy, Partnerships, & Initiatives, Daniella Greeman, is facilitating a workshop that gives an overview of the programs, opportunities, and grants BOPA is offering in the 2025 fiscal year. There will also be a hands-on grant-writing and budget writing exercise, and attendees are encouraged to come with a program or event in mind that could be considered for funding.
