About the Artist:
In a world that commodifies nature, Conroy shows us the individuality of every living thing. Conroy disseminates his message through art: “We must preserve and protect the richness of our world—replete as it is with unique, particular things.”After drawing and laser-cutting images of the same subject viewed from different perspectives, the multimedia sheets are layered atop one another, requiring the viewer to closely examine each page’s minute differences.

Conroy is a recipient of a Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. Additionally, Conroy was an artist in residence at Glo’Art in Belgium, 2018.
