The Baltimore Burlesque Troupe is dedicated to spreading safe and inclusive fun to Baltimore and beyond. BB Troupe was founded by two amateur turned professional Black burlesque performers in 2020 during the worldwide pandemic. Black Ivy + Ria Lema saw the need for creativity, fun, and celebration of the human form in all its sexiness amongst the chaos!
This troupe is a culmination of the best performers based in Baltimore city, belonging to no gender or race norms usually instilled by mainstream burlesque. We believe in uplifting one another, while also giving back to our community by donating proceeds to chosen non-profits/ transformative justice groups. We will be hosting monthly virtual shows and hope to eventually safely travel the world to show the amazing variety + talents our performers have to offer!!
