The Frederick Arts Council presents a local artist performance showcase alongside a companion pop-up art installation at its FAC Art Center located at 5 E 2nd St. Artworks are featured in a multimodal dynamic art show and interactive installation accompanying this live music performance series. Cross-Genre performers include Sean Patten, Kamyar Arsani, Andy Salfi and Dylan Zingg. Pop-up art installation artists include Shane Acuff, Dylan Zingg, Julia Schrechongost, Judith Kornett, GabyNobody, Andy Salfi, Blue, Sean Patten, and Nonestica. Artist installations are on both the first and second floors, performances occur on the second floor. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time via Eventbrite or at the door for $10.

About the performers:
Kamyar Arsani is an Avant-Garde multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter from Tehran, Iran. Through his solo work and numerous collaborations, Arsani creates music across an array of styles: ranging from contemporary Persian music to Punk Rock and genre-defying electronic experimentation. A teacher, scholar and performer of the Daf (the Iranian frame drum), Arsani has been hailed by the Washington Post, The Wire magazine, and has been a featured artist at the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, Voice of America, Georgetown University and numerous other stages and workshops.
Andrew Salfi was born in Washington, DC, he attended Emerson Preparatory School. He is an acoustic guitarist with post punk, indie rock and psychedelic folk influences. He is also a talented visual artist working in digital art, acrylic, graphite, micron, and watercolor.
Sean Patten is a talented singer and guitarist local to Frederick. His musical takes influence emo, folk punk and rock influences. He is also a visual artist with a preferred modality of mixed media collage. You can find his music at https://seanpatten.bandcamp.
Dylan Zingg is a DJ and mixed media artist and designer in downtown Frederick, MD – FAC Studio 12. His work includes architecture, public art, fabrication design and graphic design.
