April 2020 marks five years since the uprising that followed the arrest and death of Freddie Gray. To mark the anniversary the Jewish Museum of Maryland is hosting a collaboration between two Baltimore photographers, J.M. Giordano and Devin Allen.
Gray in Black and White is an online photography exhibit of images of the uprising and its aftermath. Join us for this powerful and inspiring conversation between the artists, they will discuss their work, the anniversary and what lessons still need to be learned.
This program is presented in partnership with the Reginald F. Lewis Museum. Support for the program has been provided by Open Society Institute-Baltimore.
