A conversation about opening up the design canon, with Ellen Lupton, Brockett Horne, and Raquel Castedo.
Ellen Lupton is a writer, curator, educator, and designer. Lupton is the Betty Cooke and William O. Steinmetz Design Chair at MICA. She serves as a senior curator at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City.
Brockett Horne teaches design history and theory at MICA and is co-founder of the People’s Design Archive.
Raquel Castedo is an AIGA Baltimore and SoDA board member, opening the conversation about Latin American design.
