Artist Talk and Poetry Reading, Saturday, September 16 @2:00 p.m.
Edward Doyle-Gillespie is a Baltimore-based poet and Baltimore police officer. An author numerous books, his most recently published collection of poetry is Gentrifying the Plague House. He will be giving a talk and poetry reading centered on Salon28’s Fall theme: Contending with Mundanity.
Salon28 as an interdisciplinary art gallery. Each season, Salon28 works with a collection of fine, literary, and performing artists to explore a particular theme. Edward’s talk and poetry reading is the second iteration of our twice-monthly “Saturday Salon” exploring our theme of Contending with Mundanity.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Reading/talk start at 2:00 p.m. Event ends at 3:30 p.m.
