Haydn himself praised Mozart’s bright “Prussian” Quartet, which opens this Shriver Hall Concert Series recital by the Escher String Quartet –an Avery Fisher Career Grant winner known for its “eloquent, full-blooded playing…a beautiful blend of individuality and accord” (BBC Music Magazine).
