Organized in conjunction with the special exhibition, Collecting Community: Millennium Arts Salon at 25, co-founders, Juanita and Mel Hardy, will be joined by Katherine L. Blood, Curator of Fine Prints, Library of Congress, who will talk about the history of the Millennium Arts Salon, an organization that advances cultural literacy through arts and culture programming, while building bridges of unity, awareness, and understanding nationally and globally across the ethnocultural landscape.
On every third Thursday of the month, Hillyer and our partners are open for extended hours between 5 and 8 p.m. where visitors can view current exhibitions and/or participate in public programs and events. Third Thursday is organized in partnership with the Studio Gallery, Washington Studio School, The Phillips Collection, ADA Gallery, and the Korean Cultural Center Washington D.C..
