Baltimore Architecture Foundation (BAF) in partnership with the Lord Baltimore Hotel LB Bakery & Bistro invites youth of all ages to participate in its inaugural Gingerbread Rowhome Build activity on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at The Center for Architecture and Design.

The rowhouse is synonymous with Baltimore city living and has been instrumental in making Baltimore a city of neighborhoods. With this in mind, BAF has developed a family-friendly activity to celebrate Baltimore architecture and the holiday season.

In partnership with the Lord Baltimore Hotel’s LB Bistro & Bakery, BAF is designing and assembling kits that contain all the pieces necessary to build and decorate a two-story rowhome – gingerbread pieces for the walls and roof, royal icing to hold the pieces together, and a bag of candy decorations to add festive flair.

Each team will be given one Gingerbread Rowhome Kit. If you are interested in building a Gingerbread Rowhome at home, take-and-make’s are also available for pre-order.

This event takes place in collaboration with Downtown Partnership’s Candy Lane in Central Plaza
