Homme DC is proud to introduce Halim Flowers in his first ever solo exhibition.

The opening for this exhibit will take place on October 23 from 7 to 9 P.M, followed by a “Carry Out and Rogue” event on October 24 from 3 to 7 P.M.

Halim is a Social Justice entrepreneur, a published author, speaker, and artist with an inspiring story to tell. As a youth Halim was tried as an adult, convicted and sentenced to 40 years to life in prison. While incarcerated, he developed a love for the arts, allowing him to explore and express his trauma and experiences. He turned that love and experience into the beginnings of an artistic and entrepreneurial career. It is a story rooted in realness and resilience. This will be Halim’s first ever solo exhibition.

A space for local artists and creatives to showcase their talents, Homme DC offers a unique opportunity to experience and connect Halim’s work in a more intimate manner than anywhere else in the city. Please come join us, we look forward to having you.
