We are on the way to changing our name! Join us for this historic event as we honor the life and legacy of Maryland’s native daughter, Harriet Tubman. Program highlights include live art by The Artist Oliver James, a guest performance by Janice the Griot, an African dance performance by Farafina Kan, and more. You do not want to miss this as we “Turn Up for Tubman” on this very special day.
This year’s honorees: GirlTrek | Ernestine “Tina” Martin Wyatt | Lady Brion
Attendees will also get the chance to win a signed copy of the children’s book Moses: When Harriet Tubman Led Her People to Freedom by award-winning author Carole Boston Weatherford. Light refreshments will be served.
