Brooklyn based painter, photographer and videographer John McGarity and Baltimore artist Daniel Brown present new work at their joint show, IDOL HOURS. Daniel Brown and John McGarity’s visual language, with its gothic sensibility, is a result of the artists probing the past and subverting it. They each use traditional as well as contemporary means to respond to historic iconography.
The artists will also host a closing reception on Friday evening, March 31, from 6 -8 pm.
