In a unique combination of a dance film, visual art installation, and audience engagement, “It Has Been Home for Me” celebrates Takoma Park through interviews with older longtime residents. The performance was created by choreographers Corina Dalzell and Nancy Havlik and commissioned by Dance Exchange’s Dance On creative aging program, with support from Arts for the Aging, the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Takoma Park.

Join us for an evening about creative aging and hear what your neighbors have to say about what makes Takoma Park unique and how the city has changed over the years! Masks will be required for the audience.
