Mark your calendars for the Baltimore National Heritage Area’s annual lecture series, co-hosted by the Peale Center.

In the kickoff lecture, hear from Tonika Berkley, research coordinator and curator at the Peale Center, as she talks about the history of African American education in Baltimore. Tonika will be joined by other historians, including Dean Krimmel and the artists behind the popular Renovations exhibition—Christopher Kojzar and Mollye Bendell. Peale executive director Nancy Proctor moderates a panel discussion as well.

Additional lectures in March 27 and April 24.
