Labor columnist and reporter Kim Kelly will provide a history of the American labor movement with a focus on the marginalized workers who fought for better pay and working conditions.   Their efforts, which included the institution of the 40-hour work week, workplace safety standards, and protection from harassment and discrimination on the job, have impacted generations of workers.   Kim Kelly will be joined in conversation by The Real News Network editor-in-chief Maximillian Alvarez.
