Grammy-nominated artist, Leslie Mendelson crafts a distinctive folk-rock, pop-Americana flavor, evoking the sounds of Laurel Canyon, but with the downtown grit and sharp wit of Brooklyn, the city she has called home for over two decades. Frequent collaborators include Jackson Browne, Bob Weir and Jakob Dylan of The Wallflowers, who states, “Voices like Leslie’s can get away with almost anything. Along with being a great songwriter, this leaves her with few if any peers.”
Mendelson’s fourth studio album, After the Party was released June 21, 2024 on Pasadena Records / Royal Potato Family. It was produced in part by the legendary Peter Asher (Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor, Dixie Chicks), and recorded with a band of A-list musicians including the legendary Waddy Watchtel and Jim Keltner.
Leslie is currently wrapping up a solo headline tour, after supporting on select dates for The Wallflowers, Rhett Miller and Roger Daltrey.
