Poet and journalist Dunya Mikhail will discuss her books (In Her Feminine Sign and The Beekeeper: Rescuing the Stolen Women of Iraq) about Daesh’s kidnappings and killings of Yazidi women in Iraq. She will be joined in conversation with author Jeannie Vanasco (Things We Didn’t Talk About When I Was a Girl). The event is hosted by Towson University.
