Join us for the finale of OMEN’s IT CAME FROM THE CLOSET film and reading series. The final screening is SLEEPAWAY CAMP (1983), paired with Viet Dinh’s “Notes on Sleepaway Camp”. Join us for drinks and a film screening with a short intro from guest artist Viet Dinh! After, we’ll continue to hang out and have an informal post-show discussion.

ABOUT THE FILM
Sleepaway Camp is a 1983 slasher horror film written and directed by Robert Hiltzik. Angela is a shy girl who is sent to summer camp with her cousin. Dealing with awful pre-teens set wild in the woods is bad enough. But soon, mysterious and deadly accidents begin picking off campers one by one! This now cult classic, low-budget slasher featuring very-real Jersey teen kids running around upstate New York woods is best experienced with no preparation. Just let it wash over you and we’ll discuss after!
