Shawn Peters is an award-winning filmmaker and visual storyteller whose work spans narrative films, music videos and documentaries. Peters served  as the cinematographer for the Academy award-winning documentary, Summer of Soul.
His cinematography featured in Sundance, Berlinale, and TIFF. Peters’ work has also appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Criterion. He studied English and Cinematography at Morehouse College before earning his MFA in Media Arts and Photography from the University of South Carolina.
