Rebecca Scheuerman’s Artist Statement:
“I have always had a love and appreciation for the skill of the Old Masters. As an artist I remained self-taught and avoided the larger art schools, thinking the traditional ways were lost. On discovering the existence of ateliers and the revival of classical realism I moved to Baltimore to attend the Schuler School of Fine Art and now specialize in oil painting and sculpture. Pursuing art as my career has made me fall back in love with my surroundings. I find inspiration and wonder everywhere.”
