Relegation Books is pleased to announce “R&R: The Closing Reception,” celebrating the conclusion of a month-long exhibition in the gallery at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Mount Vernon (entrance at 3 Read St.) that spotlights art and writers featured in the first year of R&R magazine (relegationbooks.com/journal), which publishes new work on Tuesdays and was launched in December 2023.
Viewing hours will be held Saturday, March 22, from 12-4 pm, followed by a closing reception (refreshments will be complimentary and alcohol-free, and all are welcome) from 5-7 pm with musical performances by Devon Welsh, Austyn Wohlers, and Regis Hotel. Admission is free, and no tickets are required. Viewing hours are also available by appointment before then.
