Game Release Day – Sunday, August 8 and beyond! 

SAAM Arcade is back and online this year! Join SAAM for our beloved annual celebration of innovation and creativity in gaming.  Are you a long-time SAAM Arcade fan? An aspiring video game developer? An avid gamer who wants to try the newest independent games as they are being made? Or an art lover interested in learning more about how video games and art intersect? This year, SAAM Arcade has something for everyone and is focused on Building Community, Embracing Individuality.  

Enjoy a new SAAM Arcade format with two virtual components. First, we will host a weeklong game jam, from Monday, August 2 to Saturday, August 7. We invite you to get creative and build your own video and tabletop game on itch.io, based on our theme of community and individuality. Then, starting August 8, all games that were created during our game jam will become available to discover and play. Celebrate the skills and artistry of our SAAM Arcade community and embrace individual expression.
