The Maryland Center for History and Culture and Maryland Public Television are teaming up to bring our members an exclusive sneak peek of segments from the soon-to-be released documentary, Harriet Tubman: Visions of FreedomModerated discussions will follow each screened clip. Light reception to follow.

This in-person event will be held from 6 to 8 pm at the Maryland Center for History and Culture. Explore the galleries and Museum Store before the program begins, beginning at 5 pm.

This sneak peek will feature four clips from the film, followed by moderated discussions with a panel of historians, including Dr. Kate Larson, New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of four critically acclaimed biographies, including Bound for the Promised Land: Harriet Tubman, Portrait of an American Hero, Jeff Ludwig, Director of Education at the Seward House Museum in Auburn, New York, and Dale Green, legacy steward and Professor of Architecture and Historic Preservation at Morgan State University. Lynn Robinson, award-winning producer, director, and writer and Executive Producer of Harriet Tubman: Visions of Freedom will moderate. A light reception will follow.
