As part of its latest first run film series, The Parkway is pleased to bring you a special evening of screenings and an engaging Q & A with Hannah Peterson (director of The Graduates, via video call), and Natalie Jasmine Harris (director of the short film Grace) in person. This insightful discussion will be moderated by Jena Burchick of Towson University and the Baltimore Women’s Media Alliance, our partner for this event.

These visually immersive films have been specially curated to explore moving and transformative themes. Set a year after a school shooting, The Graduates is a poignant look into grief, healing, and the search for meaning in the wake of tragedy, while the short-film Grace, set in the 1950’s rural South, explores the lead character’s complicated romantic feelings before her baptism.
