On June 19th, Black Writer’s Pride week will be hosting a Juneteenth celebration!

The Swann Juneteenth Celebration will be held at Charm City Books from 5-7pm.

To celebrate the liberation and freedom of our ancestors, the evening will include a conversation between Black Writer’s Pride Week Founder, Brandon Rashad Butts, and Author of “Survive the Dome” and the forthcoming “The Macabre” Kosoko Jackson. ‘

There will also be a special performance by multi-intersectional poet, Unique Howard.

Food and drinks will be supplied by Homeboy Dinner Party and Jaay’s Watermelonade.
