Turn on your listening ears and meet us at Art Enables for a one-of-a-kind “Talking Heads” listening party on May 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. 

The lively portraits of “Talking Heads” confront the viewer with their bold physical presence and with words: QR codes alongside the works link to audio recordings of celebrated media personalities voicing quotes from Art Enables artists. Journalists, news anchors, podcasters, and authors relay the ideas that occupy the artists as real people in a world that often overlooks them as such. 

At our listening party, we’ll immerse ourselves in the artists’ words as we listen, learn, and connect with the stories behind the artwork — stories that reflect the artists’ unique, lived experiences.

During the party, we’ll have light bites and libations, plus, you’ll have the chance to engage in dialogue with the artists in the show while celebrating the beautiful diversity of thought that makes this exhibition a must-see experience. They’ll share insights, inspirations, and the creative process behind their powerful work. It’s an evening of art, conversation, and celebration that you won’t want to miss.
