TASSELS & CHAMPAGNE PRESS RELEASE
The annual Tassels & Champagne is the latest collaboration of Gilded Lily Burlesque, voted “Baltimore’s Best Burlesque” by the Baltimore City Paper, featured artists in the November 2017 and September 2018 issues of Baltimore Magazine. Special guests who opened for Storm Large of Pink Martini at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
Bmore Than Dance was founded by CEO Errigh LaBoo, who monitored and participated in an underground dance movement in Baltimore City called “Rock Off/Shake Off”. He organizes and manages troupes and individual dancers, djs, emcees, and producer not only to compete against each other in a variety of competition across the nation, but also helps them to reach their potential and pursue their dreams.
The Shake Off Dance form was created through exposure to house music, eventually reaching past clubs to influence dancers across Baltimore. Shake Off is extremely entertaining–drawing on many elements of hip-hop, vogue, krump, and tap (to name a few,) it is also incredibly expressive and serves as an emotional outlet for many dancers.
Bmore Than Dance gives back to Baltimore through outreach to inner city public schools, lessons, seminars, workshops, and charitable donations.
Since 1995, the Creative Alliance has championed Baltimore as a center of cultural production. Building and operating “Baltimore’s Best Multi-Arts Space”, we showcase the area’s most exciting talent, produce transformative community events and give people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to express their inner artist.

“Baltimore’s Sicilian Queen”, Maria Bella is founder of Baltimore’s hometown heroines, Gilded Lily Burlesque, and is a rising star in the neo-burlesque movement, with headlining performances throughout North America and internationally. She was a featured artist in the New York & Toronto Burlesque Festivals, and selected to perform in The London Burlesque Festival. She was a headliner and named Artist of the Year by the Asheville Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival.
