The Short Kuts Show presents Tales From the Dark Side b/w Tales From the ‘Hood (True & Terrifying Tales of the Supernatural, the Unnatural, and the Actual-Factual-Natural)
A monster mash-up Inspired by the Ice Cube/Chuck D collabo, “Tales From the Dark Side”, off of Ice Cube’s classic 1990 album release, “Amerikkka’s Most Wanted”, Michael Jackson’s classic 1982 title kut, “Thriller” (including that classic music video), from his sales shattering album of the same name, and the ‘hood classic film, “Tales From the ‘Hood’” (1998), The Short Kuts Show Live Stand-up Storytelling Experience haunts the grand hall of the Pratt Library’s Central Branch in celebration of Halloween with “Tales From the Dark Side/Tales From The ‘Hood: True & Terrifying Tales of the Supernatural, the Unnatural, & the Actual-Factual-Natural”. This episode of TSKS engages in an entertaining, humorous, and serious amplification of true stories of encounters with terrors of the unexplained and real-world horrors from forces that seem to haunt without halt!
All these terrors and more: Malicious monsters, grizzly ghouls, ghastly ghosts, grotesque gremlins, and goblins, frightening fright night freaks, creepy creeps, suspicious peeps, bank mortgage home-loan officers, the HR department (all of ‘em), the financial aid office (at any college/university), the coven of credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, student loan servicers, store clerks who forget to remove the anti-theft device from your purchases as you head for the door of the store unaware, any/all “routine traffic stops” by the police,…
