BFAPF exhibitor Tom Hück sits down with BFAPF VP Ann Shafer to talk about this Outlaw Printmaker’s large-scale, multi-panel woodcuts that skewer rural life in the American Midwest in all its unabashed weirdness and glory. Hück’s most recent edition is a rumination on American gluttony called Monkey Mountain Kronikle. It’s a double-sided woodcut triptych that opens and closes like a traditional altarpiece and stars Lord Aporkalyptus and his bevy of brides. They talk about this masterpiece plus print history, Albrecht Dürer, and the print ecosystem.

The talk is free with your entry ticket.
