The Downtown Columbia Partnership proudly announces the fourth annual Books in Bloom Festival, the ultimate celebration of the joys of books and reading with world-famous authors. Books in Bloom returns this summer through a virtual series!
Join us for the second series of Books in Bloom with a Fireside Chat with Sarah Posner, author of Unholy: Why White Evangelicals Worship at the Altar of Donald Trump. Sarah Posner is a reporting fellow with Type Investigations and her reporting has appeared in Rolling Stone, VICE, The Nation, Mother Jones, The New Republic, HuffPost, and Talking Points Memo. In her latest book, Unholy, Posner examines the alliance between White Evangelicals and Trump. Local pastor, Rev. Brian Akers, will be in conversation with Posner to discuss the religious vote.
While this year’s Books in Bloom may look different, we’re thrilled to continue the tradition of bringing community members, local businesses, and the country’s brightest authors together to celebrate the joy of books and reading in a format that fits the needs of today’s world.
