A reunion in Baltimore for the first time of composer Peter Dayton’s queer friends and chosen family for a celebration of music for saxophones/reeds! Featuring Missouri-based saxophonist Nick May, Illinois-based saxophonist Kyle Blake Jones, North Carolina-based multi-instrumentalist Ronnal Ford, and Balitmore-based pianist Aaron Thacker performing new music by Peter Dayton, all in one space to give epic performances of music that has unity of design as its focus and the unity that music-making brings as its purpose. Includes multiple world premieres of saxophone chamber music composed by Peter Dayton.
