Join Lori Finkelstein, Director & Curator of Evergreen Museum & Library for a virtual tour of the Evergreen. Originally constructed in 1858, the home was occupied by two generations of the wealthy Garrett family between 1878 and 1952. During its near 100 years as a private residence, the house expanded in size and scope to accommodate the needs of its residents and changing tastes in architectural and landscape design. We will explore these changes and how they reflected the architectural trends of the times in which they were made.

This event has been organized by the Baltimore Architecture Foundation and the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries and University Museums. Learn more about Doors Open Baltimore 2020.
