We’re throwing a show celebrating our dear friend Eric Church, who passed on Jan. 2 of this year. Eric was an inveterate tinkerer, a designer of extravagantly complex artistic solutions, and a supporter of the local music and theater scene, and there’s nothing we imagine he would have loved more than a bunch of his longtime favorites all gathered together at one of his favorite venues, where he volunteered regularly.

We’re so pleased to present:
SPACE TWOMITE – the renegade sequel to the highly popular zero gravity space wrestling BROS rock opera Space Kümite, which Eric made happen in 2019
QUATTRACENTA – experimental no wave art rock
IAIN GRAHAM – a fun surprise 4 u
HOLY FINGERS – psych-doom jammers
and possibly more!

Please feel very invited to join us if even if you didn’t know Eric: he’d have been delighted to have more folks enjoy the arts he loved so much. For friends and family we’ll also be hosting a more traditional memorial earlier at 2pm that day, also at Current Space.

Eric believed firmly in paying artists, so please feel invited to give extra in his honor if you can: proceeds will go to the performers. Please contact us if pricing is an issue – we don’t want cost to be a barrier to any of Eric’s friends.
