The Lyric is pleased to offer a series of virtual Creative Writing workshops for 9th-12th grade students in Baltimore City. The purpose of these workshops is to encourage student creative writing submissions to the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Students have an opportunity to win $150-$500 for their entry, and a chance to share their work throughout the state of Maryland (and nationally)! These workshops are being offered in partnership with the Baltimore Office of Promotions and the Arts.

The workshops will take place Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm, between April and June 2022. Each session will be facilitated by Azya Maxton from Horizons Theater Workshop.
