Ash grew up in a creative household where he was inspired by his mother who custom designed and sewed numerous home décor items, his father as an artist and poet, and his brother a self-taught musician. His work explores the relationship between his passion for architecture, fashion, sports, and photography. Ever since he was a teenager he was fascinated with design which was cultivated during the dot come era leading him to create business logos and corporate websites as a creative outlet. He creates art that combines familiar objects to create something uncommon and unique with a pop flair. He continually explores pushing the envelope by combining bright colors and objects in new combinations so others see them in a new light. His experimentation with the intersection and overlap of everyday shapes and objects is meant to ultimately highlight the beauty of the environment around us and to provide an unforgettable visual journey.
