This session will cover the basics of preparing fiber for dyeing, utilizing mordants as a foundation for natural dyes. Mordants are a fixative which aid in attaching dyes to fabric. In this workshop Kenya will demonstrate how to prep fabric using natural mordants, and have the option to up-cycle unused materials or garments.
