Artist – Henry Johnson

Statement

It feels strange to me that others consider me an artist, but I do agree that art has been a foundation of my work and life. I just create. I would like for everyone to create some kind of art, to plant something and work in nature, and to decorate their homes from their own inspirations and passions. I am a man of little words and want this work in this extensive collection to speak for itself. These pieces are being shown to the public for the first time. Collections of renderings for buildings I have worked on over the years as an interior designer, and private paintings of things I have surrounded myself with, in and around, my home. Creations I made to pass time. To capture an object or scene in my vision, in a way a photo couldn’t attempt to do.
