The Waldorf School of Baltimore is delighted to announce the KidStock Spring Concert Series, a musical celebration for families to enjoy enchanting performances by Grammy Award-winning family artists and opening acts by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO), Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras (BSYO), and the Waldorf program.

Event Details:

Dates: April 13, April 21, and April 28 Noon-3pm

Venue: Waldorf School of Baltimore, 4801 Tamarind Road 

 

Grammy Award-Winning Family Artists:

• Sonia De Los Santos (April 13) music is inspired by various Latin American rhythms like huapango, cumbia, salsa and festejo, as well as the North American folk traditions from the United States. Sonia has been nominated for a Latin Grammy® and hailed by Billboard as “one of the Latin Children’s music artists you should know” and “Best Latin Children’s Music”.
• Fyütch (April 21) is a Grammy-nominated music and social justice artist, educator and content creator of choice for live events, corporate workshops, K-12 classrooms, assemblies, and residencies. He uses Hip-Hop, spoken word, and visual storytelling to create unique all-ages experiences that promote racial equity and liberation.
• Dan and Claudia Zanes (April 28) Grammy award winning children’s performer Dan Zanes and Haitian-American music therapist / jazz vocalist Claudia Zanes create artful modern-day all-ages folk music with a  commitment to accessibility.

 

Opening Acts by BSO, BSYO, and Peabody Youth Ensemble

The opening acts for each concert will be presented by the world-renowned Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the talented musicians of the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras, and Peabody Youth Ensemble. This collaboration showcases the depth of musical talent within the Baltimore community, fostering a harmonious blend of professional excellence and youthful energy.

Ticket Information:

• Price: $5 per show or $12 for a trio ticket (access to all three concerts).
