The Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival Launch Party Fundraiser 2024 is gearing up for an electrifying evening of celebration and community support on Tuesday, April 30th. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the 34th Annual Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival to be held in Annapolis in September 2024. Guests at this event will be the first to know the exact date and new location of this year’s festival!

The Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival Launch Party Fundraiser 2024 promises an evening filled with vibrant entertainment, meaningful networking opportunities, and the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause. Guests will have the privilege of mingling with esteemed community leaders, enjoying live performances by Annapolis’s own, R.E.I.G.N. and DJ Lampdawg, and a chance to win raffle prizes. Delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres will be catered by Flavorz Cooking and Catering. Premiere vendors on site for shopping will be NSAA African Creations by Marjorie Nicole, Ivy’s Jewelry Box, Chante La Jeune, and Classic Desserts by Dana, LLC.
New leadership is at the helm of planning the festival this year. “We’re very excited about the energy and vision Kevin and David are bringing to the Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival, with growth and innovative thinking being a top priority,” says Jan F. Lee, Board President of Kunta Kinte Celebrations. “We welcome the community to have a seat and join us in making history!” says co-Chair Kevin Smith. Co-chair David Stansbury adds, “Joining us for the launch and uplifting our community together will be sure to set the festival up for a successful year.”
