The Kunta Kinte Heritage Festival is proud to return for its 32nd annual event following last year’s success after returning from the pandemic. The renowned festival will be held at the vibrant Susan Campbell Park located at the Annapolis City Dock on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 10:00am – 7:00pm. The KKHF will feature African, African American and Caribbean culture, art, music, dance and food including over 100+ artisan, food and education vendors, a Children’s Tent with fun activities presented by Chesapeake Children’s Museum and Sankofa Children’s Museum of African Cultures.

The KKHF is a FREE fun family friendly festival catering to all ages. Our mission at the KKHF is produce an ‘edutaining’ (Education + Entertaining) event that not only preserves but also celebrates our culture. Festival goers can also expect LIVE performances on three (3) stages the Main Stage, Community Stage and Memorial Stage. To maximize the KKHF audience beyond the Annapolis and DC|MD|VA area, KKHF will provide LIVE streaming via Facebook & YouTube.

Due to an overwhelming response, the KKHF arts & crafts vendors are at capacity. However, there are cultural food and young entrepreneur vendor spaces available. KKHF sponsorship opportunities are also still available. For more information about KKHF sponsorship opportunities or to become a volunteer please visit our website at www.KuntaKinte.org.
