Jo Fleming Contemporary Art presents “On the Water”; welcoming summer to Annapolis with striking large oil paintings by Allen Bentley and Geo McElroy and Acrylic Sunsets by Matthew Nance. Bentley’s action paintings capture the wind and excitement of sailing the open waters of the Chesapeake Bay. McElroy’s vibrant and sensual landscapes celebrate the quiet beauty of the waters edge from dusk till dawn. We are also showing expressive poured liquid acrylic artworks by Matthew Nance that blend color with gravity and skill to recreate the atmosphere of the sea. 3 dimensional whales and other sea creatures and boats in Clay, metal and wood by Gil Gildea will also be featured in the show.
